The tenth edition of the Private Equity Exchange & Awards was held Thursday, November 24th 2011 in the Meridien Etoile hotel.

The summit welcomed high profile guests among the 1,100 registered delegates and more than 75 outstanding speakers on the 3 conferences tracks dedicated to International LBO and Fundraising ; LBO and Management ; Underperformance, restructuring and Private Equity. Among them Hugh Langmuir, Cinven Managing Partner, Karsten Langer, EVCA Managing Director, Thierry Baudon, Mid Europa Chairman, Thierry Baudon, Mid Europa Chairman, John Gripton, Capital Dynamics, Managing Director… The packed lunch break gave birth to fruitful conversations and the 150 one-to-one deal meetings transformed these conversations into future transactions.

The second edition of the Private Equity Exchange Awards took place further to the summit in the beautiful surrounding of the Westin Hotel. More than 380 delegates from numerous international funds, prestigious LPs and renowned CEOs attended the Gala Dinner made of rewards, networking and champagne.  A selection committee made of Limited Partners and Private Equity experts in conjunction with the editorial department of Leaders League researched the market on a global scale to shortlist high profile nominees in each one of the 24 categories.

The shortlisted firms have completed a questionnaire for the appreciation of the Jury. This was an extremely rigorous and confidential judging process based on their experience and market knowledge as well as on the information provided by nominees.

Following a qualitative & quantitative oriented methodology and rewarding the performance on the long run, the jury voted for the most dynamic LBO funds, the smartest Investors, and management teams having demonstrated successful results and remarkable build ups. Results were unveiled during the Awards ceremony.
