Luigi is a member of the Renewable Energy team

He joined HgCapital in 2008, having previously worked at Goldman Sachs in London in the investment banking division and at McKinsey & Company in Milan.  Luigi took a leading role in setting up the Spanish solar platform, Mercurio and worked on the acquisition and financing of the 44MW Ytterberg and 41MW Åmliden wind farms.

Luigi holds a double degree in engineering from Politecnico di Milan and Ecole Centrale Paris, and a MBA with high distinction from Harvard Business School. He is a native Italian speaker, is fluent in English and French and is conversant in Spanish.
